Description

　　MP SleeveGun system combines perforating and perforation breakdown with propellant in a single tool and operation.The system has a propellant sleeve over a conventional perforating gun assembly.The sleeve is available for 2",2-7/8",3-3/8",3-1/2",4-1/2",4.72",5"and 7"OD guns,respectively.

　　When the guns are detonated,the propellant sleeve is ignited by the perforating jets of the shaped charges,instantly producing a burst of high-pressure gases.These gases follow the perforating tunnels and any other crevices connected to the wellbore or the tunnels,break through any damaged(crushed)zone nearby the perforating tunnels,and generate multiple fractures near the wellbore.As the gas pressure in the wellbore dissipates,the gas in the formation surges back into the wellbore carrying out with it debris or fines,and therefore,improving the communication between the formation and the wellbore.

　　MP SleeveGun assembly can be run via wireline,tubing or drillpipe,or coiled tubing.
